This sounds like a problem I ran into a while back (and several minor
versions ago). When desinging a screen, you can define any field as the
one that receives the cursor when the screen is displayed. tn5250 did not
handle this setup properly and always put the cursor into the first field
on the screen. I reported the bug, but never had the time to test more
recent versions. (I've barely touched our 400 in the last six months.)
