You are absolutely correct, thank you! I have read some of this before,
and I even pressed attention and went into those options earlier today.
I obviously didn't see *ESC, and for some reason I thought the mapping
went the other way. I didn't see enough keys, so I wrote it off. (BTW,
the &T didn't work for me.)
This may also explain why F5 didn't work when I dialed into the router
and telnetted to the AS/400 (which has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with
tn5250).
The passthru is dialup which probably uses sna. I just type "STRPASTHR
rmtlocname" and signon after it connects.
