Aha. I think this is actually a problem with tn5250 then, trying to
use the same terminfo definition for the Linux console and XFree86
xterm, when they don't actually generate the same key sequences.
The FreeBSD termcap doesn't try to do this, I notice.
You shouldn't need a special terminfo definition for xterm under
Debian sid now, so just edit xt5250 and remove the -tn option:
