Well I only use xt5250 (never console mode) so having a gtk version would
have any disadvantages for me (gnome is already installed).  However
xt5250 is working just fine and I have no immediate need for it to be
different.  My boss would like to see something with keymapping and all
that jazz, so it would help with linux adoption for our customers.

I would far rather see development effort go into a *nix client than
worrying about windows.  There is already an abundance for win32 (though
none are libre).  I think there is a lot that could be done with 5250
other than chasing IBM's client access.
