I got some of these items solved... I changed the pkglist file to load the baselib, term, as400kmap, and tn5250 packages before the script. That at least gets me a session started with a signon screen. I also have a copy of the packages with and without the tgz extension.
Keyboard mapping is still an issue though, none of the 'mods' made in the as400kmap are being used. I also can't use any of the F13 on up keys, it treats them as unshifted. Do you know how to run in 132column mode? Or let it switch modes while running?
