I've had no luck in getting the "Meta" key to work, either in console or in X. I have set up a custom keymap for the console, defining keycode 74 as Meta_m (for keypad- / Field-) It does not seem to work, simply inputting "M" into the window. Hitting Alt-M (which I am given to understand should work) does the same thing, so I'm pretty sure that KpMinus is sending an Alt-m. I also mapped Alt-PrtScr to Meta_s...which did not work, while mapping it to Control_c did (for SysReq). However, since there is no control- combination, I couldn't work around that...
Finally, is there a way, on the console, to map left control to reset and have it work as a control key (as it does in X with xt5250)? Mapping left-control to control-r works...but it could be better. :-)

Thanks in advance,
