Hey, I've got three okays for July 7th. Lets make the meeting at 1pm, so that'll give us atleast two hours before the library closes. I'll go on this week and talk to them and see if they can give us a room to meet. I'll post the details to the list and put it up on the website. So once again, the first LUG meet is July 7th, Saturday at 1pm and the venue is hopefully the library. Once again, do we have anything that we would like to discuss/present on the agenda? I was thinking, lets try to cover one aspect of networking using Linux at every LUG meeting, like how to setup DHCP, DNS, DDNS, Apache WebServer, Proxy Server, Firewall, Mail Server, Security Issues etc. etc. What do you think? We could distribute the topics among ourselves and present it at every LUG meeting? Theres lots we can do and I know if we work together we can achieve a lot. One thing I'd definitely want to do is reach the schools around and introduce them to Linux and the benefits. If you guys have any other ideas then keep it ready for the first meeting and lets have a brain storming session. Regards, Jeff ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Testing? What's that? If it compiles, it is good, if it boots up it is perfect.
