Hi, My name is Jeffrey Yep and presently I am the Co-ordinator of Hamilton Linux User Group (HamLUG). We recently formed this group in Hamilton, Mercer County, New Jersey as there were no LUGs around this area. In our first LUG meeting, one of the things we wanted to achieve was to spread Linux throughout NJ with the help of other LUGs and SIGs. >From your website and number of members we recognize you as one of the core NJ LUGs and SIGs that can help in achieving this. Also, we have contacted individuals who are endeavoring to start a LUG or SIG in their area. We would like to get together with you sometime to discuss what we as Linux users in NJ can do to spread the use of Linux. One of things we would like to do is be part of a computer show such as TCF http://www.tcf-nj.org. We can have a combined booth and thus spread and create interest in Linux. Also, going to schools and colleges and showing them the advantages of having Linux running on their premises. I'm sure your LUG and SIG has many ideas and by having all the LUGs and SIGs in NJ join together we can hopefully achieve our goal as Linux users. Regards, Jeffrey Yep Co-ordinator of HamLUG http://www.hamlug.org
