I'd check Philadelphia listings of electronics suppliers on
www.switchboard.com business searches. Alas, some of the walk-in computer
and electronics components suppliers in the area have closed shop over the
years.
You can check Mouser Electronics online and order from them via
http://www.mouser.com/ I found them to have a lot of basic components.
If looking for walk-in retail suppliers to avoid emcumberances, the other
set of resources are computer shows. It's hit or miss but some shows have
electronic component dealers.
