On the slightly earlier subject of Windows security holes, yet another has been found (and patched at long last), this time in Windows XP.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A7050-2001Dec20.html I particularly like this paragraph: A Microsoft official acknowledged that the risk to consumers was unprecedented because the glitches allow hackers to seize control of all Windows XP operating system software without requiring a computer user to do anything except connect to the Internet. And there are still people who are amazed when I tell them I don't run Windows (not directly, at least :) ).
