What is interesting about this article, asside from the fact that it is insightful, it's author obviously well informed - is that some time in 1988-89 I heard, I believe it was on an audio tape, that George H. Bush was the most dangerous man in washington. That statement was made before he was elected president.
At the time I thought about that statement and it's ramifications for a long time. I never forgot the statement. It has haunted me ever since. This article explains why - why the statement was made and possibly why it stuck with me, even though I didn't have the reasons at the time. Ever since I heard the statement I watched and evaluated. My ears were perked up. I paid attention more closely. This article, 13 years later, makes sense out of that simple phrase. These are indeed dark times. http://www.onlinejournal.com/Commentary/011004Hasty/011004hasty.html __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
