current 3-YO brother MFC7460DN printer needs both new toner cartridge and new drum, so might as well dump it and go for a new multi-function printer that's compatible with both winders and linux; i'm *slightly* leaning to HP as they have a history of supporting linux and i want to support vendors who support linux.
