Because of some [very] strange issue with my motherboard, I am unable to
get any output from the HDMI adapter, while the DVI works (for the
on-board connectors). I had to move my computer (and disconnect it from
power) for a couple of hours, and upon re-connecting it HDMI is no more
working. I verified cables, monitors, everything that works fine with my
office laptop is not doing anything with my home PC. I tried everything
I could imagine from the firmware setup, nothing will do. DVI is OK, but
HDMI is dead. I would like to avoid VGA as much as possible.

What are the recommended video boards that I could install that could
give me two outputs for HDMI, or one HDMI and one DVI, that work
flawlessly with Linux ?

Do you have any idea of what else I could try ?

I also have some DisplayLink adapters, but I was always unsure about
those. They seem to claim they work with Linux. Is this true ? Any issue
? Could this be a good/easy replacement for a video board ?

Thank You :-)
