If there is a need for discussion topics, something that I have dug out since my presentation on using a Wacom One with Linux and some open source drawing applications is a security concern with the Wacom One, and how to prevent it. It is a reminder to read Terms of Service, even on drivers, and highlights how open source software can elevate security (keep in mind, I used the Wacom drivers in openSUSE).
I don't have a formal presentation on this, but I could put together a couple of slides quite quickly, as it's just building on the last presentation. I'm talking less about this issue (although this is also interesting): https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/4416158931863-Log4J-and-the-Wacom-Driver-Software and more about this: https://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2020/02/07/wacom-driver-caught-monitoring-third-party-software-use/ Sincerely, Katie ________________________________ From: Jean-Francois Messier <j...@messier.ca> Sent: 31 May 2023 11:54 To: Tug Williams <tug.willi...@gmail.com>; linux@linux-ottawa.org <linux@linux-ottawa.org> Subject: Re: [linux] OCLUG meeting Thursday June 1st 2023 Attention : courriel externe | external email Do we have a meeting tomorrow night, June 1st 2023 ?
