Gentoo es muy buena metadistribucion, podrias darle una mirada. Es un poco menos cruda que lfs y con una comunidad creo yo mejor organizada :) Ultimamente he estado jugando con los live cd de instalacion, para agregarle algunas cosillas que me gustaria que tuviera, y ha sido bastante mas simple de lo que pensaba.
