One of my Telfer colleagues is interested in getting Linux on this device. Anyone know much about the issues. As he says, he needs wifi WPA2 enterprise.
JN -------- Original Message -------- Subject: hp iPaq hx2410 for android/linux Date: Thu, 16 Sep 2010 11:06:54 -0400 From: James, Trevor <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> If you wish you can put out into the local Linux user groups I have an old iPaq that I would like either linux or andriod installed on. Needs to be able to do WPA2 of course for in here, web browsing maybe some simple office stuff. There is a 4G CF card in it for installation of programs etc. If they have a windows mobile 5 English to replace it with I would even go that way. Right now the wifi does not wish to connect at home (the WPA/WPA2 seems not to like this one) and in the office it will not do WPA2 Ent. properly. So in short I have a nice iPod in french with HP written on the top. T.
