I know but I think the transfer rate of 6 RAIDed "green" drives will still be higher than the one of one fast drive. On my current machine, I get 275MB/sec from my RAID 5 array of 6 drives. Network-wise I am using a pair of bonded gigabit NIC per workstation so I am pretty good on this side. Thanks! Charles > be the next bottleneck before RAM.
