Hey, It's not just the second most popular open source.. it's the second most used web server IN THE WORLD (for active sites).
It overtook IIS earlier this year: http://www.infoworld.com/t/application-servers/nginx-overtakes-microsoft-no-2-web-server-183079 You can view the stats here: http://news.netcraft.com/archives/2012/02/07/february-2012-web-server-survey.html#more-5478 (There are more IIS 'websites' but when they count active/real content sites, Nginx wins) So yeah.. there is definitely a market but I would say your rep is behind the ball and there are already going to be a bunch of them coming out in the near future.
