Salut la liste,
J'ai l'habitude de passer la commande /sbin/hdparm -d1 -X66 /dev/hdc sur
mon lecteur de DVD. J'obtiens sur une RedHat 8.0 le r�sultat suivant:
/dev/hdc:
setting using_dma to 1 (on)
HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted
setting xfermode to 66 (UltraDMA mode2)
using_dma = 0 (off)
J'ai trouv� cette information...

C'est tr�s �tonnant, cela fonctionne parfaitement sous SuSE et
Slackware. Quelqu'un � une id�e de solution?
