cela depends du support des fichiers large de ton kernel.
Pour que les applicaiton fct avec des fichiers de plus de 2 Gb
- Il faut le support dans le kernel
- Il faut le support de ces fichiers dans ton filesystem
- Que les applications soit compiler avec se support
Perso, sur ma mandrake je n'ai pas de probleme pour les application GNU ...
Le support LFS ( Large File Support ) est dans le kernel depuis
2.4.0
Ext2 supporte LFS
ReseiserFS supporte LFS ( >=3.6 )
Pour quel les applications supporte les Large files il faut qu'elle soit
compiler pour !!! ( gcc -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE )

?
M�me question quand la taille d�passe 4GB.
