Mes meilleurs voeux à la liste !
Salut Benoît,
voici ce que j'ai dans mon updatedb.conf (laissé tel quel de Scientific
Linux 4.x) :
-----------------------------------
# To enable the updatedb in cron, set DAILY_UPDATE to yes
DAILY_UPDATE=no
PRUNEFS="sysfs selinuxfs usbdevfs devpts NFS nfs afs sfs proc smbfs cifs
autofs auto iso9660 udf"
PRUNEPATHS="/tmp /usr/tmp /var/tmp /afs /net /sfs /selinux /udev
/mnt/floppy"
export PRUNEFS
export PRUNEPATHS
-------------------------------------
Pour éviter les 'crises' journalières d'I/O je préfère le lancer à la
main quand c'est réellement nécessaire, en étant root.
Bonne année,
Alain

Ce qui me paraît logique puisque nobody n'a aucun droit.
J'ai ça dans :
/etc/updatedb.conf
LOCALUSER="nobody"
C'est normal ou pas?
Merci d'avance.
Benoît

Alvin Toffler 'The Third Wave', more than a quarter of century
old, and yet so pertinent !
The first wave : the age of agriculture began... The second wave was an
expression of machine muscle, the Industrial Revolution...
Just as the machine seemed at its most invincible, however, we began to
receive intimations of a gathering third wave, based not on muscle but
on mind... social demands worldwide for freedom and individuation.
