Nous venons d'acheter un vieux serveur avec 6 disques SCSI de 18Go. J'aimerais bien installer un système de mirroring pour ne pas être trop con si un des disques décidaient de partir en vacances. J'ai un peu travaillé avec LVM et j'aimerais bien avoir LVM sur cette machine (j'ai vu EVM, c'est quoi la différence?). Mais je pense qu'il y a moyen d'avoir LVM sur RAID. La grosse question c'est comment partitionner? Est-ce que '/' ou '/boot' doivent être en dehors du RAID? qu'est-ce qu'il se passe si c'est le disque de démarrage qui se viande et que je dois redémarrer la machine? Qu'est-ce que vous conseillez? L'utilisation c'est serveur web, serveur mail, DNS, ldap, etc... le tout dans des instances Xen.
