Ton xorg semble avoir été bien renseigné lors de l'installation du 
pilote proprio et c'est tant mieux.

Chez moi, après l'install "manuelle" du driver 96.43.11 
<http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_x86_96.43.11.html> le 
xorg.conf ne comporte aucune indication de résolution.
