Hi Ramesh,

First find out which process is consuming the more resources using top
command and if that processes are not important than reduced the priority of
that process using top or nice command.

Subject: [Linux_Mantra] high load average

Hi friends,

Can anybody explain me the reason behind high load average. I have
seen load averege up to 90, 100 and 200 also. In all these case I
noticed that this high load average problem arise because of processes
that are in waiting state and finally we have to reboot the machine.

If somebody have faced such problem then please let me know the
exact reason and solution( not reboot).
