Hi dude, If u have right entries in /etc/exports i.e.
/dir (directory u want to share) *(rw,sync) -----> if you want it to share with world and have restarted your portmap and nfs services try to mount it (nfs share) on the same same server. if it gets mounted, check your network/firewalls.
