Job Title: Linux Systems Admin
Location: Mumbai
Roles & Responsibilities:
· The successful candidate will be part of a team carrying out Linux
systems administration and participate in break fix server support, incident
management, problem resolution, routine maintenance and out of hours on-call
and weekend support.
· Additional responsibilities will include owning and delivering key
projects on a Linux platform from initiation through to completion.
Required Skills:
· Minimum 5 years in depth technical Linux experience working as a
Systems Administrator in a Corporate Environment
· Experience of O/S installation, configuration and maintenance on
hardware such as HP x86 servers, HP Blade technology, AIX P Series, SUN
hardware such as M5000, T2000, T5220, V440 models
· Experience with SAN / Oracle RAC
· Understanding of virtualization / VMware
· Experience of working in a corporate environment to standard ITIL
processes (Change management, Incident management, Problem Management etc.)
· Engineering / Architectural level expertise
· RHCE certification would be advantageous
· VERITAS Cluster experience would be advantageous
· AIX / Sun Solaris experience would be advantageous
· Team player with a flexible and ‘can do’ attitude
· Effective communicator at all levels – technical & business
· Open to working On-call Rotation and weekend work
