Yes, that certainly wasn't exactly intuitive, but looking at the help
did just that, help. Try Settings -> Configure KMail... -> Network to
set up your account(s). I'm on 1.5 so the exact steps may differ
slightly on your system, but the overall procedure should be the same.
As for finding where it is, open a Konsole (not Konsul) and give the
command:
which kmail
This will tell you where KMail is located on your system. For example,
on my Slackware box it is in /opt/kde/bin:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ which kmail
/opt/kde/bin/kmail
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$
Note that you very rarely need to know the full path to a program. If
your system is set up properly, and you didn't compile the program
from source and install it in an awkward location, just the name of
the executable (`kmail', in this case) will be enough.
