Hello,
I hope that someone can help. My current setup includes: P2 with 256 RAM Primary HD: 60 Gigs w/Win 2000 Secondary HD: 40 Gigs w/Red Hat 8.0 Pro D-Link Airplus Xtreme G DWL-6520 network adapter(wireless) The problem that I am having is that I am unable to connect to the internet on Red Hat -- I cannot find a driver to support my wireless network adapter. Three possible solutions that I am thinking might solve the problem: 1. Simply find a driver off of the internet -- download it onto the Win 2000 OS, burn to CD then install it to the Red Hat OS. 2. Download the Red Hat upgrade (9.0 or Fedora) onto the Win 2000 OS, burn to CD then run the installation to upgrade the Red Hat OS with the hope that 9.0 or Fedora has a driver that will support my wireless adapter. 3. Purchase a D-Link relay device that will communicate with my wireless D-Link wireless router (located downstairs). Then, connect the relay device using a Cat 5 cable to my other network adapter card - Linksys LNE 100TX Fast Ethernet Adapter. If anyone has any comments and/or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Pierre ------------------------ Yahoo!
