I, also, have run into this problem. My home/business network has BeOS5,
AmigaOS3.9,
Mandrake8.2, W98se, W2kpro and WinXPpro. from any windows box to any other
computer the problem occurs. From linux or be or amiga (running samba) to
one another. I have no problems. In fact I've moved 20gig or more files
from one to another. I'm convinced it's a M$oft thing.
