Ok guys, I am trying to install FD3 on a machine at work to use as a
server. When attmepting to install it hangs at running anaconda. I
poored over bugzilla and every forum i can find with no resolution.
Here is the deal it hangs at running anaconda. I checked tty3 and its
last statement is * Running anaconda script /usr/bin/anaconda. tty4
has the following info:

<6>parport0: PC-style at 0x378 (0x778) [PCSPP,TRISTATE,EPP]
<6>parport0: irq 7 detected
<4>Error -3 while decompressing!

<4>Error -3 while decompressing!

<4>Error -3 while decompressing!

<4>Error -3 while decompressing!

now tty2 on the otherhand is sitting at a prompt. The prompt appears
as follows:

-/bin/sh-3.00#

I can interact with this prompt and it shows me that there is a
rudimentary file system in place. I believe this is the RAMDRIVE that
is created during install. I have tried many options while booting
with no reults. I tried text mode, skipddc, noprobe, nofb, apci=off,
apci=on, and every combination of those I could think of. If anyone
has any ideas on what to do short of doing an NFS install (as I am
attempting this tomorrow) I would greatly appreciate hearing them.

Thanks in advance!
J
