Hello Linux Gurus,
I,m striving to install Red Hat 9 on my pc
which has Windows XP installed already.Whenever I insert installer CD
initial hardware checking goes but then my moniter stops showing any
thing.Its green light turns to yellow as if it,s stopped
functioning.My moniter is HPD2835Ultra VGA 1280. The installer
programme recognizes the moniter,VG card etc. but then my moniter
stops working & it seems everything,ve stopped working.
I then tried another installation package.But it ended in failure
giving such error messages:
"Cannot open font file for font Luxi Sans 10" &
"Cannot open fallback font,nothing to do.Install exited abnormally".
Any guidance,tips,tricks from any body,d be appreciated especially
from those who,having gone through such a situation, accomplished the
task successfully.Thanks in advance.
