Hello,
I have recently installed a server and loaded it with Red hat WS 3. I
was able to ssh and ping it from with in the university, but when I was
trying to ssh to it from outside university(from my home) with Puttyc,
I get a 'connection timed out' everytime. I tried to ping it, get
a 'Request Timed out'. Tried to nslookup the hostname, it is able to
resolve the IP address(confirms that DNS is pretty OK). Everything
works pretty normal with in the university network. I thought openSSH
wasnt running , but its there in the ps -A list. Can anyone help me on
this regard? Thanks much.
