Hello again,

I was installing Samba on FC-5 for some file sharing purposes. I
could detect the samba server on window's network neighborhood after
installing and configuring it. But the problem is that when ever I
double click the shared folder, windows gives me an error that the
folder cant be accessed due to permission rights. I changed the
permission rights on samba side and set it to 'access and write
enabled for everyone' and then restarted the samba daemon.
Unfortunately the same problem recurs. This is what I included in my
samba.conf file in '/etc/samba':

[apps]
path = /data/apps
browseable = yes
valid users = @admins, root
write list = @admins, root

Do you think that the last 2 lines need to be chopped off?

Thanks.

-vinay.
