Hmmmm...  It seems that you should use YAST to install MPlayer.  YAST is 
SUSE's tool for installing apps, and while you *can* hunt down the 
source, compile it, find dependencies, etc...  :-/  I just think it 
would be better to not do it that way.

Having said that, I have never used SUSE outside of testing a LiveCD, so 
I don't actually know how to use YAST.   Hopefully this helps point you 
in the right direction, though.
