Hi James,
As Brad said in his e-mail all Knoppix Discs are Live Cd Versions. To
install to Hd what you should do is boot up your Pc with the live cd of knoppix
in the CD-Rom. When the boot process is complete and you have the knoppix
desktop displayed, you then need to launch a root terminal. At the command
prompt you would type in "knx2hd" or "knoppix2hd". This would then start up an
installation script, complete the process and you should be able to install
knoppix to the hard drive.

Knoppix is a Live distro; All iso's for a particular version of it
should be the same. There is an option to install to HD, but I don't
know for sure what it is. Google will almost certainly be of assistance
in that respect.
