How did you install them? Unlike Windows, most software is available through the distro you're using. I'd assume that if you installed these plugins via SuSE's software installer, you wouldn't be having the problems you're having? > Is there a way from the gnome terminal I can query to find the > directory they're in or a way to quickly find them by looking in the > file system? find will do it. find <directory to search under> -name "bit of the file name" man find will tell you a lot more.
