I've tried it in Linux as well, and found it to be jerky between folders and
reading emails in the lower pane.
It works OK in Linux if you have a decent, consistent high speed broadband
connection, and the smoothest use I got with it was at my campus' computing
center
(WinXP Pro with a few 16Mb/s lines, I think).
I've switched back to the old version anyway, much nicer to use.
