Hi, Presently I am facing one problem earlier I configured dovecot as my IMAP server but now I want to migrate it to courier-IMAP.(cause I find maildir has some advantage over mbox format.) I have a RHEL(AS)-4 system. I was trying to install courier-IMAP for this. So I downloaded the tarball courier-0.53.2.tar.bz2 and courier- authlib-0.58.tar.bz2 from the website.
At first I tried to install the courier-authlib-0.58.tar.bz2 as a normal user but it is not getting installed.When I run make install it is generating some error. Steps I have done, #su alice $bunzip2 courier-authlib-0.58.tar.bz2 $tar -xvf courier-authlib-0.58.tar $cd courier-authlib-0.58 $./configure with redhat switch $make $make install-------error is coming right after this. Plese help me out. Regards, Subo PS. Is it possible to have maildir format with dovecot-IMAP. Why I am keen on maildir format because I want to put my mails in shared storage.
