hi i am new to linux i've installed Redhat 9 on my system and i often face these two problems
1. i open some 3 to 4 applns in the gui mode while songs are running in the text mode tty. now while working in gui when igo to tty mode i recieve error stating drm:i830_wait_ring}*ERROR* space :131048 wanted 131064 [drm:i830_wait_ring]*ERROR*lockup and then the ctr+alt+f7 gui terminal automatically logs out? 2.after playing the game tux racer and when i restart my machine it comes upto login point in text mode the xserver doesnt popup and just hangs . to come out of this prob i used to just put the installation cd and go up to the point ABOUT TO INSTALL AND then simply restart then it works properly ------------------------ Yahoo!
