Hi, Here's a review, but as you can see it's out-dated to today's Linux Distros:
Linux Magazine - Linux Notebooks, Acer, Compaq, Fujitsu-Siemens, HP, IBM, Toshiba (your model), Sony, Network security, USB storage, Blender (pdf file.) http://www.linux-magazine.com/issue/05 My advance would be to try some Linux LiveCDs to see what would work best, or you like the best. I think those that will work with older PCs with 128MB of RAM or less would be a good choice. Try www.distrowatch.com for further research. Good luck, Joan easyej3 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi everyone, I just joined the group, so bear with me... I have a Toshiba Tecra 8100, running a P3-450 with 320 megs. It's loaded with Win 98se & I want to upgrade it. If I install linux on it would I have problems with: wireless connections, flash drives, usb ports or peripherals? Any other concerns I would need to address? Any help will be forever appreciated.... ej -----Fight back spam!
