I bet they said 'not supported', as opposed to 'not compatible'. Read the modem documentation. If the modem has DHCP (most good ones, and ones with more than a single computer port, do support DHCP), then all you have to do is to set your machine to ask for a DHCP lease on booting, and the connection should be made for you automatically. > Another question, how can I play a CD or a game that is on CD, I have > tried the run command but it won't do it.
