OK! I tried and failed. I need the help of someone here to get the
modem installed. I couldn't find anything in the help sections. I did go
through the control panel network thing which seemed pretty simple, but the
connection didn't work. I tried the ISP's setup disk and it didn't work. I
tried the modem setup disk, but found no instructions for installing under
Linux. The only setup items were for windows as per their "properties."
Should I just wait to get the Ethernet card to avoid some headaches??????
I would like to avoid going through it twice.
If it is tricky for a dunce, I could read the instructions on the win box
while doing it on the Linux box. I really wish I knew someone near me that
could show me it once. I had no trouble getting it working under windblows.
Is there a wizard/drake thing that would help me?
