If you go to one of the mirrors, like: http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/damnsmall/current/ ...you will see a lot of files, but you don't need them all. It is a good idea to read the '1-readme_first.txt' file first, to get the lay of the land. The *.iso files are different versions of the disk image that you will burn to your CD. 'current.iso' it the bleeding edge, the latest but possibly not stable version. Just beneath it, you will se a text file, 'current.iso.md5.txt' that has info on that release. Below 'current', you will see other various *.iso's each with a matching text file, describing that release. You probably already have more versions of DSL Linux than you will need.<g> Enjoy! -- -wittig http://www.robertwittig.com/ . http://robertwittig.net/ To unsubscribe from this list, please email [EMAIL PROTECTED] & you will be removed.
