SO, here is general encouragements to ease install:
* disable ACPI {ie. acpi=off)
* install in text mode (ie. linux text)
* add "vga" to the command line once you boot the FC6 disk 1 (ie.
linux vga).
* make sure to match up CPU architecture with version you are trying
to install (ie. Intel/AMD 32-bit processor gets i386, while AMD64 gets
x86_64)Feel free to combine some of these for ideal installation conditions (ie. linux vga acpi=off or linux text acpi=off) HTH, jontheisguy --- In [email protected], "chils69145" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello again > > Is there something wrong with the Fedora Core 6 installer? > I have tried to get it going on one of my machines and have had no > luck. > It has an: > ATI Radeon X1300 agp video card w/512 meg mem > with a Gateway vx700 monitor > and also tried 2 other compaq monitors > The message I get is > " > Attention > Signal Frequency > Is Out Of Range > Please Change Signal Timing > " > After that message I think that Fedora is still loading by the way > that the hd light blinks.
