I am trying to install NOVELL SUSE LINUX 10.1 from DVD.
I am new to Linux.
My system hangs-up with the following screen

N SUSE Linux 10.1
etc....
---------------------------
Then I hit "F2" and get text.
The last message is as follows:
"Starting Hardware Dection"
The system hang-up at this point for Hours!!!
What do I need do now?
How do I fix this problem?
I have a DELL Precision 650 with
DUAL pentium xeon 2.4GHz processors
Two(2) SCSI ultra 320 36gb drives
80GB IDE drive
2GB DDR pc2100r ecc memory
Nvidia fx1000 128 mb video card.
Dell 460 Watt Power Supply
