I had/have ubuntu installed and wanted to put frespire as an optional 
second system.  I split the freespace so that I had two partitions with 
gpart.  Freespire worked fine, but I can't find ubuntu.  There was no option 
on booting.  I had rewritten the mbr, my mistake I think, and got only 
freespire.  I installed freespire again on the same partition without 
modifying the mbr.  Now neither system comes up.  I am thinking I should 
reinstall ubuntu on half the hard drive and freespire on the other half 
without writing the mbr.  Or should freespire go on first?  Is there a way 
to have both OSs on the same drive?
