I had/have ubuntu installed and wanted to put frespire as an optional
second system. I split the freespace so that I had two partitions with
gpart. Freespire worked fine, but I can't find ubuntu. There was no option
on booting. I had rewritten the mbr, my mistake I think, and got only
freespire. I installed freespire again on the same partition without
modifying the mbr. Now neither system comes up. I am thinking I should
reinstall ubuntu on half the hard drive and freespire on the other half
without writing the mbr. Or should freespire go on first? Is there a way
to have both OSs on the same drive?
