I'm going to respond to this, since I don't think you've gotten all the
info you may need as of yet.

Yes, very. I would install the latest version of Fedora instead, which
can be downloaded from fedora.redhat.com.

OK, based on this info, it seems that you have only about 9 GB of data
on your D, E and F drives, in total. I would suggest copying all of the
data on the E and F drives to the D drive in Windows. Then, you'll have
plenty of room on your hard drive to add Linux.
The issue that you seem to be missing is that Linux needs to be
installed on separate partitions, not in the free space of your existing
partitions.
After you've copied the data to the D drive and booted into the
installation CD for Fedora (or whatever), I would:
1) Delete the hdb6 and hdb7 partitions.
2) Create a Linux partition (hdb2) mounted at /boot of about 100 MB.
3) Create a Linux swap partition (hdb3) of about 512 MB to 1 GB.
4) Create a Linux partition (hdb6) mounted at / using the rest of the
space on the disk.
>From there, you should be able to continue the installation, and have
plenty of space for both Windows and Linux.
