OK I decided to try out linux I had ordered the CD for ubunto O.K. has it was loading it said unable to locate rsdp then when it started it was in a strange mode or something it had a black screen and a spot to put stuff in kinda like a DOS screen but of course it isn't but looks like one is the lynux does it not have a windows type interface how do you see programs the best way i could describe it is way back when I went to collige the server for email had unix and we had a program called pine and you got a start up like what i am seeing and then you typed the program name is this the way linux is
