group,
I am new to Linux, I have some queries and get some problems when installing
this OS:
I wonder if there is any problem if I install windows and linux on the same
drive?
When I create a new drive (such as from drive E), I can observe its existence
from windows as F drive, however I could not see it during installation linux.
I install linux core 6 from DVD, after I arrive at Welcome screen part and
move to Disk Partitioning, here there are 4 options:
- remove all partitions on selected drives and create default layout
- remove linux partitions on selected drives and create default layout
(default)
- use free space...
- create custom layout

You should have just shrunk the windows drive and left the rest unused. Since
you went ahead and created a F: drive you should just delete it and let the
intsall program do a default install in the unused space.
