the thing is I don't know where you live but where I live some won't come just passing through my house and stp to look at my computer the only one who comes passing through is me or frinds i know and trust and would go near the computer. course where I live you never lock your doors and you don't get robed kids carry gns to school all the time and kids don't get shot becuse kids are tought froma young age what guns are for and how to handel them I shot my first deer at age 6. Research "single user mode". Personally, I'm thankful that Linux asks for a user name and password. It means that my data is protected from others who might try to use my computer (and yes, my computer is at home.) I even lock my screen when I'm not using my computer so that I don't have to log back in when I come back, but in the meantime, no one else can access my account. With Windows, anyone who happened to be passing through could access my data; with Linux only myself and those I grant access to can...
